Assigning a system repository
Who is this article for?
IT Administrators performing an installation.
IT Administrator permissions are required.
This article outlines the fourth step of the Iclient deployment process - assigning a shared repository and a local repository to your system.
Before continuing, make sure you've completed the previous steps in the process.
1. Assigning a shared repository
To assign a shared repository to your system:
- Launch the Ideagen Quality Control • Pluri desktop client.
- Click Setup.
- Select Options.
- Go to the Repositories tab.
- Click the Add button.
- Select File repository.
- Click the Ellipsis at the end of the File Store Path field.
- Select the file path to your shared repository that was created earlier.
- When prompted, label your repository.
- Click OK.
- Click Check Accessibility.
- Once completed, click OK.
- In the prompt to create the repository, click Yes to confirm.
You have now assigned a shared repository to the system.
2. Creating a local repository folder
To create a local repository folder:
- Open File Explorer.
- Navigate to your local C: drive.
- Create a new folder.
- Label the folder appropriately.
3. Assigning a local repository
To assign a local repository to your system:
- Go to the Ideagen Quality Control • Pluri desktop client.
- Click Setup.
- Select Options.
- Click the Add button.
- Select File Repository.
- Click the Ellipsis at the end of the File Store Path field.
- Locate your new local folder location.
- Click OK.
- When prompted, label your repository.
- Click OK.
- Click Check Accessibility.
- Once completed, click OK.
- In the prompt to assign the repository, click Yes to confirm.
