This article walks you through the recommended upgrade path to keep your system operating correctly following the transition.
1. Transitioning to IQC
To transition to IQC (Integrated Quality Control):
- Upgrade to the QPM (Qpulse Management) version.
This intermediate step ensures that all necessary functions and features are properly aligned and compatible with the latest version. -
Check that the upgrade was successful.

Directly upgrading from an older version (e.g., SV16) to the IQC (e.g., Sv230) without following the recommended upgrade path can lead to several issues:
- Incomplete Forms: Completed forms may appear green, but part properties boxes may be marked as incomplete (orange).
- Signature Removal: Signatures on forms may be removed, leading to compliance and verification issues.
- Compatibility Problems: Certain functions and features may not work as intended due to compatibility issues between the older and the latest versions (IQC).
- Data Integrity: There may be risks to data integrity, with potential loss or corruption of data during the upgrade process.
