Upgrading software versions in a staged manner helps prevent functionality issues and ensures a smooth transition.

This article walks you through the recommended upgrade path to keep your system operating correctly following the transition.

1. Transitioning to IQC

To transition to IQC (Integrated Quality Control):

1. Upgrade to the QPM (Qpulse Management) version.
   This intermediate step ensures that all necessary functions and features are properly aligned and compatible with the latest version.

2. Check that the upgrade was successful.

Directly upgrading from an older version (e.g., SV16) to the IQC (e.g., Sv230) without following the recommended upgrade path can lead to several issues:

• Incomplete Forms: Completed forms may appear green, but part properties boxes may be marked as incomplete (orange).
• Signature Removal: Signatures on forms may be removed, leading to compliance and verification issues.
• Compatibility Problems: Certain functions and features may not work as intended due to compatibility issues between the older and the latest versions (IQC).
• Data Integrity: There may be risks to data integrity, with potential loss or corruption of data during the upgrade process.
