No special access or permissions are required.
As the IQC Enterprise Repository is a live location where information can be changed at any time by anyone, it is not the appropriate location for storing finished FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) reports.
Storing completed FAIRs in the repository can lead to changes or modifications, compromising the integrity of the signed and sealed reports.
This article aims to clarify the proper storage procedures for completed FAIR reports to ensure data integrity and compliance.
1. Storing completed reports
To store a completed report safely:
- Export the report to PDF.
The PDF serves as the signed and sealed version of the FAIR at that moment in time. - Move the report to a secure location.
This could be a dedicated document management system, a secure network drive, or any other location that ensures the integrity and security of the documents. - Ensure only appropriate persons have access to the storage location.
Following this process will help you avoid issues related to document modifications, unauthorised changes, and potential data loss.
