Authenticating into the desktop client

IT Administrator permissions may be required.
This guide outlines the third step of the client deployment process - authenticating into the desktop client and pointing the system to the repository and licence and shared resources folder (LSRF) location.
Before continuing, make sure you've completed the previous steps in the process.
1. Configuring the LSRF location
To configure the LSRF location:
- Launch the Ideagen Quality Control • Pluri desktop client.
- Click the Settings icon in the top-left of the screen.
- Go to the LSRF tab.
- Locate your shared LSRF folder created previously.
Alternatively, enter the file path of the shared folder into the LSRF field.
2. Authenticating into the system
To authenticate into the system:
- Go to the Authentication tab.
- Enter your Customer ID.
This is the same as your database name, which will be provided to you by your assigned Implementation Consultant or Project Coordinator. - Enter Administrator credentials.
- Click OK.
3. Validating the LSRF location
To validate the LSRF location:
- Click the Settings icon in the top left.
- Verify the LSRF location is correct.
